SHINee's Key Celebrates His Mother’s Retirement in Heartwarming 'I Live Alone' Episode

On March 3rd, MBC's 'I Live Alone' aired a preview featuring Key from the popular K-pop group SHINee, revealing a touching moment shared with his mother.

In the episode, Key visits the hospital where his mother works, enthusiastically greeting her with a heartfelt "Mom~." He also warmly acknowledges the staff, presenting them with gifts. This special visit was significant as it marked his mother’s last day of work. Key reflected on the occasion, saying, “It must feel like 36 years have passed quickly.” His mother, touched by the gifts, responded, “Isn’t this too moving?” and became emotional.

Key wasn’t just there for the greetings; he also helped his mother tidy up her desk. Expressing her gratitude, she said, "It's so meaningful to spend my last day at work with my son." In turn, Key supported her, sharing, "I hope you can live more freely in the future."

Key debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee and continues to shine in various entertainment programs, such as tvN's 'Amazing Saturday' and MBC's 'I Live Alone.'
