South Korean actress Hwang Bo-ra is mourning the loss of her beloved pet, Pingu.

On September 14, she shared a heartfelt message on her social media, announcing that her "dear friend and daughter" had passed away on the night of September 12, 2024. Hwang reflected on their 20 years together, sharing the highs and lows of life, including her marriage and the birth of her son. She expressed feeling a sense of loneliness now that Pingu has left for the heavens at the age of 19.

She reminisced about the time when her other dog, Pinky, had passed away three years ago, revealing that she had been very depressed. Hwang mentioned that she sprinkled Pingu's ashes by a large pine tree next to the Han River, a place they often walked together. Grateful for her parents' support during tough times, she expressed deep sorrow and longing for her cherished pet.

In a touching moment, Hwang recalled Pingu's young days, stating, "Please show up in my dreams." Recently, Hwang Bo-ra married actor Kim Yong-gun's second son, Cha Hyun-woo, and welcomed her first son in May, receiving numerous congratulatory messages.
