Amid allegations of school violence, actor Ahn Se-ha faces backlash as a supportive post from a classmate sparks outrage.

Allegations of school bullying against actor Ahn Se-ha have sparked significant attention, with a friend's supportive post drawing controversy. Amid strong criticism, this post listing positive memories has seemingly fueled public outrage. On November 11, a person identifying as Ahn Se-ha's middle school classmate claimed they did not wish to excuse the ongoing bullying allegations but noted that they cannot confidently deny the reported incidents when they were not present. The poster expressed concern that Ahn Se-ha, whose real name is Ahn Jae-wook, may be unfairly remembered as a bully, influencing perceptions of him as a "bad student" due to typical teenage bravado. They further added that Ahn was known for his talents in singing and dancing while being friendly, contrary to the bullying narrative. The classmate reminisced about a time in university when Ahn, even after years, reached out to reconnect with former classmates out of respect. They recounted receiving help from Ahn during a difficult period while pursuing acting, describing how Ahn went out of his way to support and comfort them. In response to the allegations against Ahn, this friend firmly stated they could not imagine him as a perpetrator of bullying. Previous claims from another classmate, who went by B, painted Ahn in a negative light, alleging he forced unwanted confrontations during school. B characterized Ahn as a "devil" who caused lasting harm and expressed distress over Ahn's participation in a baseball event, stating they could not support him after the accusations. Following these events, the NC Dinos baseball team announced Ahn's first pitch at an upcoming game was canceled, citing their agreement that continuing with the event was inappropriate while issues surrounding the allegations remained unresolved. Ahn was scheduled to sing the national anthem and pitch on September 15 in Changwon, South Korea. In response to the accusations, Ahn Se-ha's agency, Funus Entertainment, labeled the allegations as false and stated they will pursue legal action against those spreading misinformation. They indicated that they filed a complaint with the cyber investigation unit, vowing to take a strong stand against any defamation caused by these claims.
