An Se-ha's Musical Performance in Jeopardy Amidst Rising School Bullying Controversy

Actor Ahn Se-ha finds himself in the midst of a growing controversy over alleged school bullying, leaving his performance schedule uncertain.

Ahn is currently starring in the musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" at the Gwanglim Art Center, running until October 20. A representative from the production company, Show Note, commented on September 11 that they are monitoring the situation and awaiting further developments. As the controversy intensifies, Ahn is set to perform in the role of Daisquith tomorrow evening at 7:30 PM, but his participation remains in question.

On October 12, Ahn's agency, Hunus Entertainment, stated they are waiting for the production company's decision and expressed regret over any unintentional disruptions. Show Note further clarified that if the performance is canceled, an official announcement will be made, while no announcement indicates the show will proceed as planned. Alongside Ahn, actors Jeong Sang-hoon, Jeong Moon-sung, and Lee Kyu-hyung also share the role of Daisquith.

Earlier, an individual claiming to be an acquaintance of Ahn alleged in an online community post that he was a well-known bully in school, detailing an incident involving threats and forced fights. In response, Ahn's team denied the accusations on October 10 and announced plans to take legal action against the false statements, including submitting a complaint to the police and pursuing defamation claims. This legal strategy highlights the seriousness of the allegations and Ahn's intent to protect his reputation.
