Tragic news has emerged regarding the beloved South Korean actress Kim Soo-mi, who passed away at the age of 75.
Her son, Jeong Myeong-ho, CEO of Napalkkot F&B, announced her death, revealing that she succumbed to hyperglycemic shock early in the morning on the 25th. Kim Soo-mi, known for her iconic roles in "Four Seasons of Love" and the play "Mommy," spent her lifetime touching the hearts of many as a mother figure. Jeong expressed gratitude to fans for their love and support over the years, emphasizing the lasting impact of his mother’s passion for acting.
In addition, Jeong Myeong-ho mentioned that the family deeply appreciates those mourning alongside them during this difficult time. She was transported to Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital but could not be revived following a cardiac arrest. The cause of death has been reported as hyperglycemic shock.
A private funeral service has been arranged at Hanyang University Hospital in Seongdong-gu, with the burial scheduled at Seoul Memorial Park. The funeral procession will take place on the morning of the 27th. Jeong Myeong-ho and his wife, actress Seo Hyo-rim, are among the family members overseeing the arrangements.
