Broadcaster Choi Dong-seok Opens Up About Delivery Struggles and Life Challenges After Moving to Jeju Island

Broadcast personality Choi Dong-seok recently opened up about the challenges of living in Jeju Island.

On his social media account, he shared his frustrations about delivery issues, stating, "Jeju Island has a lot of difficulties when it comes to package deliveries. I often cancel orders for beds and desks because of the shipping hassles. I ordered a desk that needed assembly, only to be told to pick it up myself, and when I arrived, the delivery fee was over 90,000 won—can you believe it?"

Choi also mentioned his struggles with setting up the furniture, confessing that he knew his children wouldn’t actually use the desk for studying, but he hoped they might at least look at a book when it was all set up. He acknowledged that while it was clear the desk would eventually become his own, he felt a sense of pride in completing it despite having endless preparations still to tackle.

Accompanying his post were photos showing the desk he carefully assembled, along with visible scratches on his skin from the process.

In other news, Choi Dong-seok married broadcaster Park Ji-yoon in 2009, sharing two children before their divorce in October of last year after 14 years of marriage. The couple is currently navigating custody arrangements and recently, Choi relocated and appeared on TV Chosun’s "I Am Alone," discussing his feelings post-divorce, which garnered significant attention.
