RM Reflects on Turning 30: A Heartfelt Message to Fans
BTS's RM shared his emotional thoughts on his 30th birthday, connecting deeply with his fans. On December 12, he wrote a lengthy post on the fan communication platform Weverse, expressing gratitude for the support he has received. He mentioned feeling overwhelmed by the significance of this milestone and acknowledged that it has been a difficult journey, but the messages from fans have helped him endure.
In his message, RM quoted a saying from Buddhism: “You must rely solely on yourself as a light.” He reflected on this wisdom during challenging times, stating that although he has many thoughts and feelings he wishes to express, he would share a few pictures on Instagram instead. He expressed optimism about the future, mentioning that he believes there will be a more beautiful time and place to convey his thoughts, especially regarding his military service.
RM also shared a personal note, stating he has now reached the turning point of his military service, likening it to reaching a milestone during training. He described how the seasons change and that despite the challenges, he looks forward to meeting his fans again when the time is right. "I will come back filled with good days, words, and a healthy heart," he concluded, adding warmth and love for his supporters.
He complemented his message with a photo of a handwritten letter, further emphasizing his sincerity towards his fans. RM, who enlisted in December 2022, is expected to complete his service by June 10, 2025, which many fans eagerly anticipate as they await his return.
