In response to the buzz, Big Hit Music released a statement confirming that Jungkook posted his message to assert that young artists should never be used as shields in disputes. Meanwhile, NewJeans members Minji, Hani, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein had previously called for the return of former HYBE representative Min Hee-jin during an urgent live broadcast on September 11.
