Popular South Korean broadcaster Jang Young-ran recently took a family trip to Jeju Island, sparking curiosity about vacation costs.
On November 11, her YouTube channel 'A급 장영란' shared a video titled "Shocking Jeju Island Prices! What Did Jang Young-ran's Family Spend?" In the video, Jang mentioned that her husband, Han Chang, took a rare vacation, leading them to explore the island. She openly discussed their expenses, asking whether Jeju prices were truly as high as rumored.
Initially, Han Chang managed to save on rental car costs by searching for better deals, dropping the price from 700,000 KRW to 380,000 KRW. Jang also shared that their family meal expenses amounted to 50,000 KRW, along with another 100,000 KRW for snacks and drinks from a local store. Overall, she expressed satisfaction with the trip, noting that prices weren't as steep as expected.
The highlight of their stay was a spacious accommodation featuring a swimming pool, where Jang exclaimed, "I love it!" She revealed that the total cost for 3 nights and 4 days was 3,200,000 KRW, which was a significant investment. This transparency about expenses added to the family's excitement about exploring Jeju.
Throughout the trip, Jang's family also enjoyed a variety of activities, including biking, indulging in local delicacies like black pork, and visiting museums. Their adventures created unforgettable memories and showcased the charm of family travels in Korea's beautiful tourist spots.
