Comedian Jung Juri Launches Creative Coin-Based Market to Teach Kids Financial Literacy

Jung Ju-ri Teaches Kids Financial Literacy Through Fun Activities

Comedian Jung Ju-ri has captured attention with her innovative approach to instilling economic awareness in children. On the 14th, she released a YouTube video titled "Teaching Spending Habits from Early On (feat. Economic Sense)." In the video, Jung shares her method of rewarding kids with coins for commendable behavior while taking them away when they misbehave, creating a playful system for teaching spending habits.

To enhance this learning experience, Jung decided to set up a market where children could use the coins they've earned. She pondered aloud about ensuring there were food items available for the market. With the help of her relatives—aunt providing snacks and drinks, and uncle running a lottery booth—they prepared an engaging environment for the kids to explore.

After gathering various items that children would want, Jung, with family support, transformed her home into a bustling market. When the kids arrived, she explained how the prices of goods were set in coins. Notably, the children eagerly used their coins to buy LEGO toys they had long desired and even contributed towards a gift for their dad.

Jung's initiative not only entertained but also educated, as kids enjoyed both the snack services and the lottery booth activities. Meanwhile, she recently announced she is expecting her fifth child, adding to her vibrant family life.
