FNC Entertainment stated on October 25 that while they are not privy to the personal details regarding Choi's issues, the entertainer feels a sense of responsibility for disappointing the public and wishes to pause all media engagements, including his current involvement in KBS 2TV's "The Return of Superman." This likely indicates his exit from the popular show, in which he stars alongside his children. The agency also extended an apology for the distress and inconvenience caused to many.
Meanwhile, Yulhee, who is divorced from Choi Min-hwan, released an audio recording on October 24 that allegedly documents Choi visiting establishments involved in illicit activities. She further exposed shocking details about being sexually assaulted in front of family members, alleging inappropriate behavior by Choi.
Choi Min-hwan and Yulhee tied the knot in 2018 and have three children together, but they officially divorced on December 4, 2022, after five years of marriage.
