IVE's An Yu-jin Becomes Best Driver on 'Jumping Cars'
According to Korean media, An Yu-jin of IVE, known as the 'MZ wannabe icon,' has emerged as the best driver on tvN's variety show 'Jumping Cars.'
On the final episode aired on the 21st, An Yu-jin completed her journey to becoming the best driver.
During the broadcast, An Yu-jin warmed up with some dance moves before a sudden music quiz that started during dinner. The quiz came with a penalty: if anyone lost, they would have to unconditionally complete the production team's mission the next day, igniting her competitive spirit.
An Yu-jin showcased her wide-ranging music quiz spectrum by performing cover dances of idols from various generations, including Sechs Kies' 'Pomsaeng Pomsa,' Red Velvet's 'Umpah Umpah,' and BooSeokSoon's 'Fighting.' She even showed some playful frustration towards the production team, saying, "It's a place for harmony and fun, yet no one is clapping," which drew laughter.
On the morning of their departure, An Yu-jin took the wheel again. Having driven a total of 150km from the first day to the last, her teammates praised her by saying, "We're now used to Yu-jin driving," and "It's so smooth."
Unlike the first day when she was nervous, An Yu-jin showed her growth as the best driver by calmly letting oncoming vehicles pass on narrow roads. After completing her last drive between a brunch café and their accommodation, she expressed her sentiment, saying, "When I hear 'HEYA,' I'll think of Gapyeong. If I think of Gapyeong while doing a music show, I might cry."
An Yu-jin wrapped up the trip with her teammates by doing the 'HEYA' challenge. She stole the show by completing the eye-catching intro while being carried by Lee Young-ji and led the group dance during a playful dance battle between Lee Young-ji and Mimi. Notably, she naturally included PD Na Young-seok in the final challenge, perfectly concluding all the filming for 'Jumping Cars.'
Meanwhile, IVE, which includes An Yu-jin, is currently meeting global fans through their first world tour, 'IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE.''
