Emotional Turmoil Drives Fifth Grader to Bully His Toddler Siblings on Recent Episode of 'My Little One'

A recent episode of Channel A's "Nowadays Parenting - Precious My Baby" reveals the troubling behavior of a fifth-grade boy, known as Geumjok, who has been exhibiting violence toward his three-year-old brother.

On the broadcast aired on the 22nd, Geumjok's parents opened up in a studio discussion about their ongoing struggles with his aggression, which has persisted since last year. They shared the shocking footage of Geumjok displaying violent tendencies towards his significantly younger sibling, raising concerns among viewers. During the episode, Geumjok also bragged about his biological father, a wealthy businessman, claiming, "My real dad bought me king crab."

Furthermore, as Geumjok's father confronted him about stealing, the child became evasive, insisting he only borrowed a bike light. The discussion took a serious turn as Geumjok's mother admitted to his kleptomania, revealing that he frequently steals items from the neighborhood store. Dr. Oh Eun-young, a child psychiatrist, emphasized the severity of Geumjok's actions, noting that repeated stealing is indeed kleptomania and warning against stigmatizing the boy, which could exacerbate his emotional struggles.

In a vulnerable moment, Geumjok was seen secretly messaging his biological father at night, showcasing his loneliness after his mother's remarriage. While his mother attempted to address why she and his father separated, Geumjok clearly expressed his disinterest in the topic. When asked about his feelings regarding having two fathers, he admitted it was confusing for him, stating, "Having two dads is bewildering."

When probed about why he bothers his younger brother, Geumjok candidly replied that it frustrates him because he feels his parents only love the younger siblings. He expressed a desire for more love from his parents, revealing the depth of his emotional turmoil. This poignant exchange underscores the complex dynamics of blended families and the challenges children face during significant life changes.
