HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung to Tie the Knot in October

According to Korean media, singer HyunA (Kim Hyun-ah, 32) and Yong Jun-hyung (35) will be tying the knot this October in an outdoor wedding hall, basking in the warm natural light and surrounded by the blessings of their close friends.

Reports indicate that HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung will hold their wedding on October 11th at Samcheonggak, an outdoor Hanok venue in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. This marks the culmination of their romance, which became public in January, roughly nine months ago.

The couple is currently sharing the news with close friends first. Though they have been open about their relationship and often seen on dates without worrying about public attention, they are being careful and deliberate about their wedding.

On the wedding day, only close family members and friends will be invited to keep the ceremony quiet and intimate. The venue was chosen with guest privacy in mind, leading them to select Samcheonggak, a small outdoor wedding venue. They finalized the venue contract last spring and have since been preparing for the wedding in earnest.

Given the outdoor setting in October, the wedding is expected to be beautiful and solemn. The ceremony will take place under the warm autumn sunlight, during the peak of Bukaksan's autumn foliage.

HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung have known each other since their early days in the entertainment industry, both being part of Cube Entertainment. They evolved from colleagues to lovers in their 30s and are now set to marry in October, drawing much attention.

Their relationship became public in January when they shared their romance on social media. HyunA asked the public to "see us beautifully," while Yong Jun-hyung expressed his hope that people would "watch over us with a positive energy."

Since going public, they have openly expressed their affection for each other. HyunA once showed her phone background, a couple photo, on a web show, saying, "It gives me strength and makes me very happy." In March, they were spotted traveling together in Thailand, which drew a lot of attention.

HyunA, born in 1992, debuted with Wonder Girls in February 2007 but left the group the same year. She re-debuted with 4Minute in 2009, producing hits like "Hot Issue," "What's Your Name?" and "Crazy." From 2010, she also showcased her talent as a solo artist with songs like "Change," "Bubble Pop!," "Red," "Bebe," "Lip & Hip," and "I'm Not Cool."

Yong Jun-hyung, born in 1989, debuted with Beast in 2009, earning global fans with hits like "On Rainy Days," "Fiction," "Shock," "Beautiful Night," "Beautiful," "12:30," and "Midnight." He re-launched his career with Highlight in 2017 but left the group in 2019 due to a series of events. In March, he released his solo EP "Beautiful Dystopia" and recently held a solo concert in Hong Kong.
