Fifty Fifty Members Saena, Shio, and Aran Take Legal Action Against Former Agency Attract, Securing Restrictions on Lawsuit Records Amid Ongoing Dispute Over Contract and Compensation

The ongoing legal drama surrounding former Fifty Fifty members Saena, Sio, and Aran continues to unfold as they file a counterclaim against their former agency, Attract.

The three members recently secured a court ruling allowing them access to previously restricted lawsuit records against Attract following the agency's claim for damages amounting to 13 billion KRW. They have asserted that their counterclaim aims not only to recoup some of the owed settlement money but also to clarify past financial dealings related to their entertainment activities. As the members pursue transparency, they emphasize the importance of a detailed account of their earnings and expenditures prior to resolving the damages lawsuit.

Adding to the complexity, Attract had initially sued the three members, their parents, and executives at The Givers for the hefty damage claim in December 2023, which has led to significant legal back-and-forth. While the court has set a date for the first hearing on August 29, the three members have maintained that they have not yet received a clear financial statement from Attract. In parallel, they have recently signed with a new agency, MASSIVE E&C, signaling their intent to resume their musical activities.

The turmoil began in June 2023 when Fifty Fifty skyrocketed to fame with their hit "Cupid," only to find themselves ensnared in a legal battle with their agency shortly thereafter. Following claims by Attract regarding the members' health issues and treatment, the situation escalated, with allegations of external parties attempting to lure them away and claims of betrayal emerging publicly. With each passing month, the members remain firm in their determination to start fresh, as they express their desire for a more reliable and supportive working environment.
