Former Golden Child Member Choi Bo-min Reveals Assault Incident at Golf Range, Wins Partial Lawsuit Against Attacker

Former Golden Child member and actor Choi Bo-min has recently revealed that he paused his activities due to an assault incident involving a golf club.

According to a report by Legal News on November 18, Choi Bo-min filed a lawsuit via his legal representative on August 22 of last year against an individual identified as A and B, the operator of the golf practice facility, for the assault. The Seoul Western District Court issued a partial victory ruling on October 15, ordering B to pay approximately 12 million won to Choi, with around 10.6 million won to be paid jointly with A. The defendants submitted a notice of appeal on October 22, but later withdrew the appeal on November 1, solidifying the court's ruling.

Choi Bo-min debuted in the entertainment industry in August 2017 as a member of the boy group Golden Child under Woollim Entertainment. He expanded his career by transitioning into acting, debuting in the web drama “A-Teen 2” in 2019. Recently, he’s focused solely on acting following the conclusion of his contract with Woollim Entertainment and the Golden Child group at the end of August this year.

He was also invited to participate in the 29th Busan International Film Festival with his film “The Horror Train.”
