On the 25th, G-Dragon graced the finale of the '2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon' at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, Yeongjeongdo.
The event was hosted by NCT's Doyoung, TXT's Yeonjun, and IVE's An Yujin.
G-Dragon performed a total of three songs: 'Power', 'Manjeongsin' (맨정신), and 'Ppitakage' (삐딱하게). Notably, during the final song, 'Ppitakage', a sing-along erupted among the audience, capturing everyone's attention. With a powerful performance, G-Dragon brought an energetic close to the 'Gayo Daejeon'.
This appearance marked G-Dragon's first return to the 'Gayo Daejeon' since his participation with Big Bang in 2016, making it an 8-year hiatus. Moreover, he was recognized as the 'Favorite Artist' of 'Gayo Daejeon'. At the end of the broadcast, G-Dragon expressed his gratitude, saying,
“I thought I was the oldest idol, but it turns out I’m still a favorite idol. I still love being called an idol. Thank you.”
