Former singer and multi-entertainer Lee Hye-young has captured attention by seemingly taking a playful jab at her ex-husband, broadcaster Lee Sang-min.
In a recent episode of the YouTube channel "No Back No Return," titled "Still a Turbulent Life, Lee Hye-young Teases Her Immature Brother Tak Jae-hoon," Lee discussed her ex’s wealth, humorously questioning the meaning of "operating assets." As Tak Jae-hoon mentioned that he has been married for 13 years, Lee jokingly remarked, "I was a woman who could live this long," laughing at the memories of her brief marriage to Lee Sang-min. Lee married Sang-min in 2004, but their union ended in divorce just a year later in 2005.
When Tak Jae-hoon jokingly suggested that her husband could endure a lot, Lee shared a lighthearted story about how they had once promised to die together, showcasing their affection. In a humorous exchange about wealth versus physical strength, Lee declared she prefers "a wealthy husband," which drew laughter from the audience. However, when asked if physical strength was not necessary, she comically admitted that it's tough now and joked about having less energy.
Additionally, Lee Hye-young remarried in 2011 to businessman Bae Jae-hoon, with whom she has a daughter. She bravely faced a diagnosis of early-stage lung cancer in 2021 and received much support throughout her recovery.
