Jiyeun's New Year Goal: Shedding Weight to Look Beautiful

(Xports News, reporter Lim Na-bin) Actress Ji Ye-eun has revealed her new year’s resolution to break free from her current weight.

On the January 5 broadcast of SBS’s 'Running Man', episode 734, the show themed around ‘Deciding to Part Ways with 2024’ as it welcomed the year 2025.

On this day, actor Kang Hoon returned to 'Running Man' after five months, and the members took turns introducing items they wanted to say goodbye to from 2024.

Haha shared, “For me, it’s food. I’ve struggled a lot because of this,” as he pulled out jelly and snacks. He added, “Just yesterday, I finished a pack of cheese-flavored snacks. These have been driving my belly fat, chin fat, back fat, love handles, and side fat crazy. If you ever see me eating, please slap me!”

Ji Ye-eun then said, “I want to look pretty now. I want to break free from this weight,” showing off a scale. She jokingly added, “I want to get rid of 69.8 kg,” which led Kang Hoon to exclaim in surprise, “Is that true?” eliciting laughter from the group.

Earlier, there had been reports about Ji Ye-eun weighing 69.8 kg, to which she just chuckled, questioning, “Can it really be true?”

Next, Yoo Jae-suk said, “I brought a real luxury item. Seok-jin hyung knows this. I wore this belt when I was going around with it,” unveiling a guO brand buckle belt.

Yoo Jae-suk reminisced, “I wore this when I was in my 20s. One of these series was taken by KCM. It was popular in the early 2000s.” He laughed, “Jong-kook will remember this era. Back then, tight shirts were in style. I used to wear a fitted shirt with this buckle, and it caused me to have metal irritation, leading to constant inflammation.”

He continued, “It’s been more than twenty years, and it’s hard to throw it away. Even when moving, I find it hard to part with it.”

Kang Jong-kook showed off his electric bicycle, saying, “I actually spent quite a bit of money on this. But the pedal broke. They say they won’t provide after-service.” He expressed his frustration, adding, “I have to pay to get it fixed. I haven’t even ridden it more than 15 times. Anyway, someone should just take it away.”
