Jo Jung-suk, Um Tae-goo, and Jung Hae-in Top the September 2024 Movie Actor Brand Reputation Rankings in Korea

Actors Jo Jung-seok, Um Tae-goo, and Jung Hae-in have claimed the top three spots in the brand reputation rankings for movie stars.

On September 16, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed big data from 100 beloved movie stars in South Korea, totaling 180,039,975 data points. This figure represents a 15.89% increase in brand big data compared to the previous month's total of 155,360,559. The brand reputation index is calculated by assessing consumer behavior, categorizing values such as participation, communication, media, community, and social factors.

Jo Jung-seok's brand led the rankings with a reputation index of 7,011,133, showing a remarkable increase of 59.30% from 4,401,318 in August. Um Tae-goo followed in second place with an index of 6,640,667, up 90.15%, while Jung Hae-in ranked third with an index of 5,858,262, experiencing a significant rise of 182.38% from the previous month.

The analysis further revealed that Jo Jung-seok's brand scored high in keywords like 'box office success' and 'challenge', while maintaining an impressive positive sentiment ratio of 86.91%. The study, which examined a large pool of well-known actors, highlights the growing interest and support for these stars among consumers.

This comprehensive reputation survey, conducted from August 16 to September 16, included notable names like Cha Seung-won, Go Yoon-jung, and Ma Dong-seok, reflecting the popularity and evolving dynamics in the Korean film industry.
