Jung Hae-in Surprises Fans with Flash Mob Appearance at 'Veteran 2' Screening During Chuseok Festival

Actor Jung Hae-in created a buzz during the Chuseok holiday with surprise stage greetings for his film "Veteran 2."

On the 17th, he shared a short video on social media, captioning it, "Surprise stage greeting... You never know when or where I might appear." The video captured the moment he unexpectedly entered the theater after the film's ending credits, leading to gasps and cheers from the surprised audience. He expressed his gratitude to fans and then joined director Ryu Seung-wan and veteran actors like Hwang Jung-min and Shin Seung-hwan for a more formal greeting.

"Veteran 2," the highly anticipated sequel to the 2015 hit film that attracted over ten million viewers, follows detective Seo Do-cheol, played by Hwang Jung-min, and rookie detective Park Sun-woo, portrayed by Jung Hae-in, as they hunt down a notorious serial killer. The film has quickly gained popularity, surpassing 4 million viewers within just six days of its release, which also marks a significant financial success by crossing the breakeven point of 4 million viewers. This rapid achievement outpaces the releases of previous films such as "Veteran," "The Drug King," and "Crime City 2."

In this sequel, Jung Hae-in challenges himself by portraying the complex character of Park Sun-woo, a seemingly innocent yet enigmatic psychopath, earning praise for his new acting transformation. This role is expected to further solidify his growing presence in the Korean film industry.
