In a recent episode of KBS 2TV's "Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears," comedian Jung Jun-ha exhibited a surprising reaction when his fellow entertainer Yoo Jae-seok was mentioned.
During the show, Park Myung-soo remarked on Jung Jun-ha's appearance, claiming he looked like he had gained weight and suggesting that it was impacting his ability to work in broadcasting. Jung Jun-ha responded defensively, stating that there are many others in the industry who are also larger, including baseball player Lee Dae-ho. However, when Park Myung-soo brought up Yoo Jae-seok's name, Jung Jun-ha hesitated and insisted that they should not call him.
This moment led to Park Myung-soo teasingly referencing the fact that Jung Jun-ha listens to Yoo Jae-seok's advice much more closely than his own. He continued to press Jung Jun-ha about his weight, asking if he wasn’t going to take care of himself. The discussion turned personal as a North Korean defector, Lee Soon-sil, observed from the studio, commenting that Jung Jun-ha's style is more popular in North Korea than Park Myung-soo’s.
The playful banter and underlying tensions during this segment not only highlighted the closeness of the entertainers but also brought attention to broader themes of body image and celebrity culture in South Korea.
