The members of SBS’s ‘Jungle Bob’ found themselves stranded at the airport due to severe weather conditions.
On the September 17 broadcast, cast members Ryu Soo-young, Lee Seung-yoon, Yoo-i, and Kim Kyung-nam faced cancellation of all flights to the Palawan Islands because of heavy rainfall from Typhoon Gaemi. According to local crew members, flights to the Busuang route were completely canceled, and even domestic flights had been halted. With the next available flight scheduled for the following afternoon, the members were left with no choice but to remain at the airport until then.
Ryu Soo-young expressed his disbelief, saying, “I really thought things couldn’t get worse after Vanuatu. Everyone was stuck, and it left us wondering what to do next.” Lee Seung-yoon added, “We felt completely powerless in that moment; it was as if our minds just went blank.” This unexpected turn of events certainly kept the members on their toes as they navigated through the uncertainty.
