Kim Go-eun stole the spotlight with her striking transformation on the red carpet at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. On September 13, the actress attended the premiere of "Love in the Big City," alongside her co-star Steve Sanghyun Noh and director Lee Eun-hee. Kim showcased a daring new short hairstyle paired with a chic white dress that elegantly accentuated her shoulders, embodying both sophistication and grace. The film, which explores the unique love story between two contrasting characters, was adapted from a chapter of a novel by bestselling author Park Sang-young. "Love in the Big City" is part of the festival's Special Presentation section, celebrating notable works from acclaimed directors and actors. This section has previously featured critically acclaimed films like Bong Joon-ho’s "Mother" and "Parasite," as well as Park Chan-wook’s "The Handmaiden." Following its official premiere at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, the film will also hold an additional screening and Q&A session at TIFF Lightbox on September 14. Set for release on October 1, one day earlier than previously announced, "Love in the Big City" promises to attract both fans of Korean cinema and those curious about modern love stories.
