Lee Hae-won Proudly Shares Son’s Return to Carnegie Hall
On the 16th, Lee Hae-won, a broadcaster and wife of soccer player Ahn Jung-hwan, took to her social media to express her pride over her son’s performance at Carnegie Hall. She posted, “The place I’ve been twice in 8th and 10th grade. Look how much my son has grown!!! Amazing!!!” along with several photos.
The photos showcase her son, Lee Hwan, from behind, highlighting his impressive stature. Lee Hwan previously made a mark as the youngest trumpet player to perform on stage at Carnegie Hall in 2022, and seeing her son return to this iconic venue has left Lee Hae-won deeply moved.
“I truly feel proud,” commented comedian Shim Jin-hwa, sending applause to the young musician.
In response, Lee Hae-won added, “I’m proud and amazed, and after his performance, I shed tears again. Haha! Maybe it’s because I’m nearing my fifties, I might catch a slight cold from all this emotion! Haha! I’m grateful for everything.”
Meanwhile, Ahn Jung-hwan and Lee Hae-won got married in 2001 and have two children: their daughter, Lee Won, and son, Lee Hwan. Additionally, Lee Hae-won has appeared on the KBS2 variety show 'Scientific Investigation Team: Smoking Gun.'
