Mi-ja’s Struggle: Belly Fat and Health Risks Explained

Social Media Spotlight: Comedian Mi-Za’s Body Image Reflections

[News & Entertainment Reporter Lee Hae-jeong] Comedian Mi-Za (real name Jang Yoon-hee) recently shared an eye-opening glimpse of her past physique.

On January 4th, Mi-Za took to her personal social media to express her feelings: "Thank you all for the compliments on my long and slender arms and legs! However, I envy those who have smooth abdomens much more," she revealed. "Due to my body type, which accumulates fat in the stomach and sides, I have to constantly manage my figure. If I let my guard down even a little, my stomach can balloon up like a tadpole." She shared her struggles with body image.

Mi-Za went on to say, "Fat concentrated in the abdomen is like gasoline for inflammation. It only exacerbates inflammation in the body and can eventually lead to disease," emphasizing the necessity of managing age-related weight gain.

Accompanying her post were photos showcasing her puffy face and a protruding belly that appeared ready to burst from her pants, drawing significant attention.

Netizens reacted with comments such as, "I completely relate. The weight just doesn’t come off at my age," "It's sad that my stomach bulges even though I’m not eating much," and "These photos are so realistic."

Meanwhile, Mi-Za is the eldest daughter of actors Jang Kwang and Jeon Sung-ae, and her younger brother, Jang Young, is also an actor. Additionally, Mi-Za operates a personal channel with her husband, Kim Tae-hyun, where they engage with fans.
