NewJeans' Minji Criticizes New Management at ADOR in Urgent Live Broadcast

NewJeans member Minji has made headlines after a critical emergency live broadcast targeting the new management of Hive and Ador. On the afternoon of November 11, the group, consisting of Minji, Hani, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, conducted a YouTube live session titled "What NewJeans Wants to Say." During the broadcast, Minji expressed her concerns about the new management led by Kim Joo-young, insisting on a return to the original Ador structure. She conveyed fears over the future of their work and highlighted the disturbing nature of their current situation. Minji also addressed the discord involving the new management and Shin Woo-seok, the director of their music videos. She indicated her confusion regarding the new management's recent statements, stressing that if they genuinely intended to avoid interfering with their production, the ongoing issues with Shin should not have occurred. This pointed criticism raised questions about who the new team is truly serving, given that their actions seem to contradict their claims. The NewJeans member called for respect towards the directors and producers who have collaborated with them, emphasizing that their current pursuits do not align with the group's interests. Minji highlighted their desire for a unified approach to management and production under Min Hee-jin’s leadership, suggesting that such a request could be a viable way to coexist peacefully with Hive. Ultimately, she urged Bang Si-hyuk and Hive to decisively revert Ador to its former structure by the 25th to show they are truly listening to the artists.
