Announcement from Noh Hong-chul's Bakery: Temporary Closure for Renovation
On the 15th, Noh Hong-chul shared an important update about his bakery on his social media. He stated, "Seoul Hongchul Book Bakery will be open until December 15, this Sunday... I will return in February 2025 with a more 'Noh Hong-chul' style after renovations... If the construction progresses quickly, I will come back even sooner," along with a photo.
The photo features a notice in front of Noh Hong-chul's 'Hongchul Book Bakery'. Currently operating from a standalone house in Huam-dong, Yongsan, Seoul, the bakery is a combination of a book café and bakery. The 'Hongchul Book Bakery' team announced, "Due to space upgrades starting from the New Year, we will be undergoing renovations from December 16 until the end of January next year, resulting in a temporary closure during this period."
They added, "Let's meet again in 2025 with a fresh and cheerful vibe," along with a character illustration of Noh Hong-chul, bringing a smile to many.
In response to the news, netizens reacted with enthusiasm, expressing sentiments such as "I’m looking forward to it," "Can it really get any more Noh Hong-chul?" and "I’ll be waiting for the New Hongchul House."
Currently, Noh Hong-chul is also running a second location of the 'Hongchul Book Bakery' in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, which opened in 2022. It is estimated that he earns about 50 million won per month as a bakery owner and has reportedly recorded over 600 million won in revenue within just one year.
