The SBS 'Entertainment Awards' is currently facing a dilemma.
According to exclusive coverage by Star News on the 31st, SBS is positively considering rescheduling the 'Entertainment Awards' to January 2025.
Originally, the 2024 'SBS Entertainment Awards' was slated to take place on the 31st at 8:40 PM at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. However, due to the aftermath of the tragic accident involving a Jeju Air passenger plane at Muan International Airport, the event was canceled in consideration of national sentiment and the social atmosphere.
In relation to this, the SBS network stated on the 30th that, unlike some other broadcasting companies that plan to proceed with private recordings and later release the award results, "We will not continue with any recordings." They also mentioned that the announcement method and details regarding the award results are still undecided.
Ultimately, SBS is now adjusting the schedules of attending celebrities with the goal of holding the SBS 'Entertainment Awards' again sometime in January 2025.
