Popular singer Jung Mi-ae recently shared updates from her visit to the National Cancer Center in Ilsan, highlighting her ongoing health journey.

On September 13, she expressed on social media that despite hearing "there's nothing unusual" for the past two years and nine months, she often feels uneasy. She revealed that her recent fatigue and throat inflammation have led to swollen lymph nodes, causing her to ponder when she might feel normal again. Jung also conveyed her desire for peace of mind amidst her complex emotions and health concerns.

In response, fans flooded her posts with encouragement, saying things like "Everything will be fine, we always support you" and "Taking it easy is the best approach, so take care." These supportive comments show the strong connection she has built with her audience throughout her career.

Jung Mi-ae, known for her rise to fame on 'Miss Trot,' has captivated many with her charm as a leading mother in the entertainment industry. However, she caused concern when she announced a sudden hiatus from activities in December 2021 without disclosing detailed reasons.

One year later, she surprised fans by revealing her stage 3 tongue cancer diagnosis on KBS 1TV's 'Human Theater,' sharing that she underwent an extensive eight-hour surgery which involved removing a third of her tongue. The cancer's high recurrence rate left her living with anxiety and fear for six months post-surgery, illustrating the challenges she's faced.

Recently, Jung has returned to the spotlight after a lengthy break, reconnecting with her fans and resuming her musical activities.
