Super Junior's Sungmin Welcomes a New Baby Boy

Super Junior's Sungmin has celebrated the arrival of his first child, a baby boy!

On October 13, it was announced by Sungmin's agency, SM Entertainment, that his wife, musical actress Kim Sa-eun, gave birth to their son. Sungmin expressed his happiness, stating, "I feel extremely happy and joyful, but I am also feeling a sense of responsibility as a father,” and he thanked everyone for their congratulations.

Sungmin and Kim Sa-eun tied the knot in 2014, and after ten years of marriage, they received warm wishes upon sharing the news of Kim's pregnancy. Just a day before the birth on October 12, Sungmin appeared on MBC's "Son Tae-jin’s Trot Radio" and shared, "Today I am Sungmin, but from tomorrow, I will be Dad Sungmin." He revealed that he was super nervous about becoming a father.

In addition to the excitement, Sungmin shared that the baby's nickname is "Popo," inspired by a dream he had featuring a waterfall. He concluded by lovingly addressing his son and his wife, saying, “Popo, your mom took great care of you for ten months, and I will protect you well once you are here. I love you, Popo, and I love you, my dear.”

Meanwhile, Sungmin recently released a trot single titled "Yo. Yo. Yo" on September 22 and has been actively promoting it.
