TV CHOSUN's highly anticipated jungle survival show, "Survival King: Tribe War," has made a powerful debut, capturing the top spot in viewer ratings on its first episode.
The show features a star-studded cast divided into four formidable teams: the "Jungle Team" led by Kim Byung-man, the "Physical Team" with Choo Sung-hoon, the "Military Team" headed by Lee Seung-gi, and the "National Team" featuring Park Tae-hwan. Each team will compete over ten days in three challenging rounds: "Tropical Rainforest," "Deserted Island," and "Hidden Location." Only one team will claim the title of "Survival King."
In the premiere episode aired on October 7, Kim Byung-man showcased his jungle expertise by scaling a 13-meter tree barefoot and sparked a fire using a battery, earning him the nickname "Jungle Edison." The cast also engaged in a thrilling "barehand hunting" challenge for dinner, emphasizing the adventurous spirit of the show.
Meanwhile, the upcoming second episode promises intense moments, including the "Physical Team" facing a dramatic late-night hunting adventure. Tune in on October 14 at 10 PM on TV CHOSUN for more thrilling antics, with new episodes released on global OTT platform Netflix every Tuesday.
