Tragic news has emerged as South Korean actor Song Jae-rim has passed away at the age of 39.
According to reports, Song Jae-rim was found dead on the afternoon of the 12th. His funeral will be held at the Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Funeral Hall, with the burial scheduled for November 14th at noon. His last Instagram post, dated January, showed a reflective photo of himself, and his profile featured the phrase "a long journey begins."
Born in 1985, Song Jae-rim began his career as a fashion model before transitioning to acting in the 2009 film "Actresses." He appeared in movies such as "The Con Artists" and dramas including "The Moon That Embraces the Sun" and "Goodbye Mr. Black." This year, he was seen in the TVING series "Queen Woo," showcasing his enduring presence in the industry.
In 2014, he gained widespread popularity through the variety show "We Got Married," where he shared a virtual marriage with actress Kim So-eun. Most recently, he starred as Florian Victor Clemen de Zerodel in the musical "The Rose of Versailles," performing from July to October.
